1. There is an attack on Pakistan air base at Mianwali camp damaging more than 40 planes, including an F-16 and some Chinese planes, too. 30 Pakistani soldiers and 3 attackers are believed to be dead. Tehreek-e- Jihad, a Taliban linked terrorist group, has claimed the responsibility of the attack. The group is founded with the aim of turning Pakistan into a Sharia law-abiding Muslim country. Yaghistani is its leader. Fighting is continuing, and a Pakistani tank is destroyed. Pakistan is experiencing an economic fall down, and the political situation is also very volatile. Just two days back, Pakistan ordered undocumented migrants, largely consisting of Afghan people, to leave the country. It is estimated that nearly 4 million Afghan live in Pakistan with a large part of it without relevant authorized official documents. The reason perhaps is to reduce the load on a frailed economy to sustain non tax paying residents. Pakistan has proved a haven for terrorists and the situation has evolved from the Russian invasion of Afghanistan in the 80s to infamous terrorist organization al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, residing in Abbottabad of Pakistan and killed by the US. India has also attacked the terrorist training camps near the Indo-Pak border on Pakistan soil. The Taliban version of Pakistan has attacked Pakistani establishments many times, killing civilians, students, and army men. The numerous terrorist groups mushroomed under a deliberately neglecting eye of past governments and army establishments turned on the protectors and made the country unstable indeed.
In all 9 terrorists who attacked the air base were all killed, and three non operational planes are damaged, which is what the Pak military said.

2. An earthquake of 6.4 magnitude on Richter scale in Nepal killed over 100 people. Tremors felt up to New Delhi. Times of India reported that the death toll is at least 157. Nepal PM Dahal visited Jajarkot area of Nepal and met the affected people. The Indian PM Modi said India stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready is ready to extend all possible assistance. The epicenter of the quake was in Jajarkot district, laying about 500km west of Kathmandu. The geographic location of Nepal, situated on the borderline area, over two tectonic plates makes it prone to subterranean activities.

3. Ambulance carrying severely wounded Palestinians to Rafah pass is attacked by Israel killing patients inside. Israel claims that there were Hamas terrorists inside the ambulance. The helpless health volunteers are utterly speechless.

After much hype and rhetorics by Hamas or Hezbollah, there is hardly any resistance to the Israeli army. Barring some ambushes and skirmishes, there is virtually no resistance. Then, let it be attacks on refugee camps or ambulances. Hezbollah chief Nararallah’s speech was watched all over the Arab world, and he said that all options are open to Hezbollah. The Gaza city is already surrounded from all sides by Israeli forces, and the attack on tunnels harboring Hamas terrorists is continuing. The Arab world is still withholding, perhaps under the US pressure, and the Hezbollah chief also hinted so in his speech.

Israel bombed 3 hospitals, a school, and 2 ambulances , not one on Friday, as reported earlier, leaving behind a bloody ,destructive trail.
After his visit to Israel, the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is heading to Jordan. The world is stunned by the Hamas violently killing, attacking Israelis on the 7th of October and then standing still by the wreckage Israel raised in the name of revenge. The figure of dead now rose to 9000 plus. Particularly, the pictures of wailing, wounded, and frightened children will be hard to put out of mind. Though the women are also killed and wounded, the footage is rare. Actually, women and children are sitting ducks to air raids and bombing. Many dead bodies are lying on the streets. What’s mostly seen is rubble, craters formed after bombs exploded, buildings with their concrete cloths torned and lay in tatters with steel columns bend and pocking out gaped holes poignant broken pieces every day furniture and articles, columns of dust, smoke, terrified faces of humans, some having dead bodies of children in their arms, revengful, menacing and most of the times devastated faces, wailing women, some very tired faces-totally at loss and still trying to comprehend. These images will stay to haunt us for life. How to vindicate it all with humanity herself on knees begging for rationality.
Meanwhile, Reuters has reported that Hamas has done long-term planning to stretch war for (perhaps) months by storing ammunition, food, medicines, and other necessary equipment in the tunel. This is assumed obviously that under increasing international pressure, a ceasefire can be enforced, swapping Palestinian prisoners with the release of hostages. But the question still remains as to what extent the suffering must be to initiate such talks from Israel side. And, even more on the ethical side is the human mere pawns in the view of Hamas? And, if the mere exchange of prisoners with hostages can create peace on the bloodied soil of Palestine?
Ashram al- Qudra, a Palestinian spokesman, informed at a press conference that the Al-Fakhura school maasacre killed 15 and wounded 70. No confirmation is available for such claims, but it is unfortunate that we console with speculations that fewer casualties are there and the number of persons killed is lower than what Palestinian authorities are reporting.
