It might be just a coincidence that the European farmer’s agitation and the Indian farmer’s agitation happening simultaneously.

It poses some serious questions about the government .It has prepared to block the agitation so thoroughly that an unfamiliar might take it as a war preparation.

The government has failed to convince the farmers representing bodies about its intentions. The government has 3 years to act with best intentions in the welfare for farmers.

With regret, we have to say that it has failed to earn the trust of the farmers. Why have no earnest efforts been seen by the concerned ministry or the Prime Minister himself. When the farm laws were repealed and Modiji promised the agitating farmers, why did the eradication of hiccups not take place in the usual manner that Modiji is famous for?

It is regretful that the most ancient business of human kind has taken a back seat for superfluous satiation of temporary needs, neglecting the most primary need of  hunger. Agriculture is hardly executed with a deeper business sense.

The world emulates the US model of development, but we hardly see farmers agitate there with such vehemence.

Last time, the rowdy exhibition of farmers trying to crush the hapless police with tractors at Ted Fort, New Delhi, was a shameful exhibition. And so also the blindfold government.

The Indian states of  Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh tried to set up a system of MSP at existing market rates and pay the difference in the actual cost of production and MSP. Why is proper publicity techniques that the BJP is famous for not accorded to these experiments?

What exactly is the intention of the government? And what exactly of the hell bent farmers with every chance that the agitation would get violent? Why are the bodies representing farmers couldn’t earn the confidence of government?

If disadvantages are there for MSP, then why are the authorities not agreeing with other demands? It appears from the government’s stance that it neither acknowledges farming as a basic business nor farmers as respected citizens. Why is this arrogant handling that appears to be heading towards crushing the agitation instead of mending it in time? wasting invaluable national property, infrastructure, and loss of invaluable time of millions of people.

Or, would it be like last time, when Hon.Prime Minister to step into and announce submissively, agreeing to demands and show that ministers can’t handle it.

The only hope an Indian citizen can hope for is  peaceful democratic handling from both sides shunning any violence.
