Is it falling apart even before concluded?

The peace deal is coming apart. The main players, since its beginning, were speculative about the outcome. Add to it the momentum gathering US elections, the difficult task to effect and restrict movements of Israeli soldiers and Hamas terrorists, no reduction in Iran – US tensions ( the election hacking episode added to it) , consequently no stopping of Hezbollah, anti- Israeli groups from Iraq and other countries… so many ‘difficult to control’ offshoots crowded the coherent path to the desired goal.

The Chicago convention and the US Secretary of State hurriedly, visiting negotiators one by one, reminding the world that this is the last chance of peace is not a mere coincidence. Link 🔻

In the past, when negotions were going on , a temporary, unwritten ceasefire was observed by warring sides. It exists no more! Now the aggressive and impatient leaders drive their followers and soldiers to use the ‘lull’ to move with lightning speed to sabotage and attack each other without giving a chance to peace.

It is used to extract maximum benefits, too, from the deal! The hapless citizen wait for the sanity to prevail around and also in the mind of their leaders! Post covid, the world is witnessing even more sinister dance of death. How many lives are perished?

The ‘We’ used to shiver earlier by merely reading or hearing ‘ More than 100 people died in the accident’, ‘In the uncontrollable March of the epidemic’, hardly raise eyebrows over news coming from Israel-  Hamas war, Russia-Ukraine War, Sudan violence, deaths of immigrants, riots,Jihadist attacks in Sahel region and other news of violence.

If we look at the figures of human casualties in some, not all conflicts round the world, the Israel – Hamas war alone claimed more than 40000 lives ( Palestinians largely + Israelis), 50000 plus Russian soldiers  perished in Russian invasion of Ukraine. 15000 have been dead in Sudan since mid-April. 2023. Link 🔻

It does not count the number of displaced people which runs into ‘Millions’. Their daily lives destroyed, savings lost, homes gone, and so also the life in their hearts.

The human casualties by terrorism, racial riots, and natural disasters due to climate changes and global warming, which are human contributed, are not counted here. Just think about that, and then you will get an idea of the world we are living in!
