Updating stopped as there is no effort from the world to stop the further human loss. Neither is there any visible effort seen to go to the root cause of the horrific incident and correct it nor any leader with world status seen talking about it.

Update : 11.32 am Indian Standard Time – Figure of killed slowly⁸ approaching 2000.
Israeli conunter attack still continuing. All the world, instead of finding penanent solution to the Palestine problem, is engaged in condemning Hamas, Israel, aiding Israel, backing Palesinians, some celebrating attacks, and others inciting Israel to complete its revenge.
What can be the Solution?
1) Release all hostages immediately. 2) Stop Isreli attacks 3) Withdrawal of every Isreli soldier from Gaza Strip 4)International Peace Keeping Force in the Gaza Strip 5)Withdrawal of US War ship 6)Immediate elections in the entire Palestine – West Bank & Gaza Strip under international observation. 7) A solid international financial aid to Palestine to set up different industries 8) Total removal of condition about destruction of Israel in the charter of Hamas 9) A separate multi nation agreement with Iran & US to not to meddle in Libya or Middle East. 10) Hezbollah militants should lay down their arms without condition 11) 100 % international recognition of Palestine as a sovereign country
Update : 10:38pm Israeli Army Radio – we will keep on hitting Gaza Strip even if captives are hurt. Hamas: We will execute hostage for every Israeli attack. Update : 9.36pm Indian Standard Time Yuav Gallant – Minister of Defense of Israel: We are dealing with animals.Gaza strip is under total blockade. There will be no water, no food, and no electricity to Gaza Strip. Entry points into Gaza strip and exit routes are also blocked.US, UK, French, and German leaders meeting to prevent the situation from escalating into war. Night falls on Gaza Strip – Darkness without food, water, and electricity punctured by violent explosions throwing hideous deathly yellow & billowing dark smoke

Total 1000 dead & around 3000 wounded. With Israeli counter assault going on, casualties would increase. Israeli soldiers are engaged in battles with the trespassed Hamas fighters at as many as 22 locations. Yesterday’s UNSC ( United Nations Security Council) meeting was a closed door meeting. As reported by Reuters,The Israeli Ambassador to UN Gilad Erdan said, prior to meeting that these are war crimes and the Hamas terror infrastructure needs to be obliterated. The era of reasoning with these savages is over, he added. The Palestinian ambassador to UN Riyad Mansour said,”Israel keeps saying: The blockade and repeated assaults on Gaza are to destroy Hamas military capabilities and ensure security. … Its blockade and assaults accomplished neither. When Israel now tries to justify yet another assault by the same faulty premise, no one should say or do anything to encourage it down this path,” he said.
over 300 Israelis and 313 Palestinian dead and more than 1800 Israelis injured. Another important update is that the Israeli government has ordered its citizens residing near the Gaza strip to evaluate their homes in 24 hours. This indicates that most probably, a big military offensive is planned against Hamas in Gaza Strip in approaching 25 hours.
Another point of view that is equally important is the intelligence failure from the Israeli part. Somehow, it is connected to people’s agitation and loss of trust in the present government. So there is another, though remote possibility that to strengthen his position and to propel Israel forward with, perhaps more land acquisition from Gaza Strip might be tried by permanently evacuating, as many as possible Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
Northern Israel is attacked from the Lebanon by Hezbollah group. Israel also launched a retaliatory attack. United Nations General Assembly meeting today. Russia’s stance will be observed. Israeli President Netanyahu asks Palestinians to leave and says, “We’ll turn Gaza Strip into dessert.” Iran, Yemen, and Kuwait support Gaza Strip and the attacks.
Have you got anything to trade? If not, nobody is with you. Energy fuels beneath your feet? rare minerals? Gas? Gold? Nothing? My friend, our world understands only the language of trade, profits, mutual business, and bilateral trade. Hundreds, thousands flee to Armenia, refugees from poor African countries resting at the bottom of sea, why? Even Russia is able to cause rift in impeccable European unity with GAS.

Airlines all over either canceled their flights or diverted to Eilat’s airport, which is the second largest airport.

The US is talking with Egypt to mediate with Hamas to stop further attacks. Saudi Arabia Jordan, Egypt, Palestine government-The US is bringing players in trying to diffuse the tensions.

Explosions, missiles, rocket attacks, gunfights, bodies strewn on the streets, hostages, retaliation … history keeps on repeating the scenario on the cursed land bearing the signs of past uncaring selfish motives of nations eager to exploit the world and enjoy hegemony.

Since morning in a ferocious attack, the Hamas fighters infiltrated Israel. Till this time, attacks were carried out from Gaza, and the attackers would come back and hide. Not this time, they crossed into Israel paragliding from skies, by sea, and roared on motorbikes. For Israelis, just entering into the religious morning soon devastated by the missiles not ending to stop at all. According to a channel, as many as Five Thousand Missiles were fired in less than half an hour. UN, as usual, has condemned the attack and expressed concern for the suffering common people from both sides. Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, who is still reeling from the huge protests over the constitutional amendments for Supreme Court, reacted with a war cry and said, “Citizen of Israel, This is not an operation, not an escalation. This is war. And, We will win. Hamas will pay an unprecedented price”.

The figure of the dead and injured is much higher as the figure keeps on escalating. Israelis, proud of their capable army, were speechless over this intelligence failure. Even Palestine president Abbas is saying that now every Palestinian has the right to defend his own life. Hamas named this operation as Al Aqsa flood against Israel, while Israel theirs as Iron Swords.

The situation is complex as it is laced with hostage drama. In what it boils into is difficult to guess. But the situation is very volatile indeed. The revengeful Israel with President Netanyahu at its helm would go to any length. The US has already expressed its unequivocal support to the Israeli president, and Hamas is desperate to take things forward.

The date for the attacks is chosen carefully. It was on the same day ,51 years ago, a similar event took place. The intelligence failure is obvious. The war is taken to the other side in a bold move. Some Israelis soldiers didn’t even get time to dress properly and seen in payjamas.

Gaza Strip is 140 square miles along the Mediterranean Sea densely populated with an estimated population of 2,229,000. Though highly populated, thanks to Israel sanctions, bereft of civic amenities. People , particularly the youth, are largely unemployed. Major occupation is agriculture with large exportable production of Citrus fruit. Arabs and Israelis have been engaged for so many years that generations are passed. But the conflict couldn’t be solved.

Hamas is a fundamentalist militant organization. Israel is under the influence of ultra right nationalist government. Both are firey and hardly worry about the innocent blood that spills. Hamas is founded in 1987. It’s an acronym for Harkat al- Muqawama al- Islamia (Islamic Resistance Movement). Hamas is supported by Iran. And not only Iran but Turkey also have some Hamas leaders reportedly living there.

Sheikh Ahmed Yassin is believed to be the creator of Hamas. He was a Palestinian preacher. His Islamic scholarship study was completed in Egypt. He initially started Hamas as a political arm of Brotherhood. (A Muslim religiopolitical organization in Egypt)
Palestine was a part of the Ottoman Empire. The empire ended after World War 1. It should be remembered that under the Sykes -Picot Agreement in 1916, the Middle East was divided between British and French influences. The British government earlier promised to recognize Arab independence after the war. This was not one way favor. For that, Hussein Bin Ali al-Hashimi, King of Hejaz, must start a revolt against the Ottoman Empire. Simultaneously, the British government also needed to guarantee a ‘Nation’ to the Jewish people. The decrees gave the British government the necessary rights. The United Nations General Assembly in 1947 agreed to the partition of Palestine. The British took their part off in 1948 due to increasing volatility.
In the ensuing violence 250000 Arabs displaced, thousands of Jews died. The tall promises given to achieve the selfish motives and the inadequacy to rule thereafter with the ambiguity in clear demarcation have taken the toll , pushing the unstable land and people over it into a permanent instability. The November 1947 UNGA acceptance further saw Gaza town and surrounding area allotted to Arabs. This is Gaza strip. The British Mandate was over on May 15,1948, and without wasting any time, Arab – Israel war broke the same day.
For a brief time, the area remained under Egyptian military rule. No effort was taken to align it with Egypt or absorb its Arab population in Egypt. The area under the Arabs left to a strip of 40 km long and 6-8 km wide strip – the Gaza strip.
Its boundaries were demarcated under the Egypt – Israel Armistice agreement in February 1949. It remained with the Egyptians until 1967. It had fallen under Israeli rule after the Six Day War of 1967 till 1988. Violent riots and street clashes compelled Israel in 1994 to agree to the Palestinian Authority under Oslo Accords.
By 2005, Israel completed withdrawal from Gaza Strip. However, the weak rule saw Fatah (the dominating governing party) losing to Hamas in 2006 elections. Hamas, which was already placed on terrorist list by Israel, the US, and the European Union, saw sanctions imposed on Gaza Strip.
Hamas Charter laid down its directives which called for the destruction of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic society in historic Palestine. Hamas never supported the establishment of Palestine Authority PA that came into power after the Oslo Accords. PA was formed under Yasser Arafat. Hamas refused to acknowledge the new Palestine government and Israel. Gaza is ruled by Hamas and some part of West Bank by Fatah run Palestinian Authority.
The changing geo politics recognizing Israel by Arab countries, bilateral Accords between them, the land grabbing efforts and continuing violent pressure from Israel, return of Benjamin Netanyahu (Who was nearly opposed by Barack Obama, supported by Trump, Biden) and an increasing awareness or belief that the world has neglected the Palestine Cause must have compelled Hamas to undertake this lethal and suicidal operation.
Will there be any solution for a peaceful co- existance? With an adamant Hamas and an equally ultra nationalist Israel hell bent on total destruction of each other, it seems to be impossible.
